This tote bag is handcrafted in the High Atlas mountain village of Asni, located just a few kilometers south of Jarjeer Refuge. The wool is locally sourced from mountain sheep, washed in natural river water, hand-carded, and spun onto wooden spindles before being woven on vertical Berber looms.

By purchasing through our sanctuary shop, you provide fair living wages to rural Moroccan women while 100% of all profits fund veterinary medication and feed for the working donkeys of the same mountain valleys.
